A 1 FOOT PELTON
The energy output from a 1-foot (approx. 30 cm) diameter Pelton wheel running on

Why Air is Ineffective in a Pelton Wheel
• Density Difference: Water is about 800 times denser than air. A Pelton wheel generates power by changing the momentum of the fluid jet. The force exerted is directly proportional to the mass flow rate (ṁm dot
