Dr Nic Bennett - Sydney Nicola Bennett am just a Canadian born European background white skinned person from Rual Northern Ontario. I was born in North Bay, Ontario, Canada & grew up just outside the city. I used to visit Beverly Kingdom's mother in Chisholm where she, Beverly had a rural farm like setting for her & then husband Gordon living in after they were in Callander & other area

I had met them at under 18 months of age at Massey Drive (77) in North Bay 

Dwight & Beverly over Jim & Cathy because the one Ontario neurological technology lab cluster made a serious mistake with Jim's Locksmithing at one point

Beverly had kept some Burlington Swans at the farm I used to visit alongside other family friends as child where we bought or had ATV's

I became Nicole Rothschild - Bennett's estranged husband under unordinary circumstances after the 2000's after having met in Sudbury at Laurention University in the 1990's

Nicoles mother is a Royal & her father is an Elite 1% family member which had Knighted me in the 2000's & later I became a Consort Prince to their family of 30 Royal families & 5000 Elite families versus Affluent Millionaire & Middle Class or Impoverished

Beverly used to keep Cottages on Lake Nosbonsing & a home in Burlington in Ontario Canada along with different properties & investments. She is amongst different people that had known the four Bennett's since birth or since the 1960's-1970's

At our 2023 Canada Day and Burlington 150+ celebrations on July 1 at Spencer Smith Park, I was very excited to present Beverly Kingdon with a Burlington Key to the City!

It was an honour to present Beverly with the highest honour we have at the city and recognize her successful community volunteer efforts in restoring the Trumpeter swan population at LaSalle Park.

BEVERLY KINGDON (July 2023)

Beverly has been a volunteer in conservation work for more than 40 years, and a driving force behind the creation of the Trumpeter Swan Restoration Group.

Trumpeter swans were nearly hunted out of existence in Ontario by the late 1800s and re-introduced into the province in the 1980s. Beverly has said she initially became involved in this volunteer work because of her love of swans and it gave her an opportunity to give something back to the Burlington community. Thankfully, we’ve seen the return of the Trumpeter swan population to LaSalle Park, and the bird population thrive.

Of note, in 2022, Bird Friendly Hamilton Burlington announced the Trumpeter swan was selected by popular demand as Burlington’s unofficial city bird.

Beverly’s efforts have ensured Burlington’s unofficial bird has a haven in our city for generations to come – making her a very worthy recipient of the Key to the City!

ABOUT BURLINGTON’S KEY TO THE CITY:

Designed and created by local stained glass artist Teresa Seaton, the multi-coloured glass key incorporates elements of Burlington’s natural landscape and the City crest, all within the shape of our well-known blue city clock that stands proudly outside City Hall as a gift from our twin city, Itabashi, Japan. The key is housed in a textured glass box that adds to the timeless beauty of this work of art. Burlington’s Key to the City program was launched in 2019 by Mayor Marianne Meed Ward.
